Résumé
In this work, a single phase heat transfer study in a plate heat exchanger operating as a subcooler in an adiabatic absorption test facility is carried out. This facility is a single effect water-lithium bromide absorption system condensed by water. The experimental parameters include the LiBr solution mass flow rate and concentration varying from 70 to 270 g/s and 57 to 63%, respectively. The application of the modified Wilson plot method allows the estimation of the heat transfer coefficient based on the experimental measurements and the subsequent construction of appropriated correlations. The obtained results will be useful to predict the functioning of the plate heat exchanger for research and simulation. The corresponding results are analyzed and correlations equations have been obtained and compared with those reported in literature.
