Résumé
The porous foams filled with phase-change materials are excellent candidates for insulation and energy storage in building envelopes. The paper presents the physical analysis and computer modelling for heat transfer of phase change in porous foamed concrete. The heat transfer through the foam is considered through its solid phase and the liquid residing in the foam pores via conduction and convection and interface between solid and solid via phase change. The research provided a theoretical model to determine the one-dimensional temperature distribution and heat transfer rates in open cell porous foamed concrete when they are used in a heat conduction and phase change heat transfer mode. The phase change heat transfer in porous foam building envelopes was simulated. The results showed that thermal conductivity of porous foamed concrete, porosity in porous foamed concrete have effect on the heat transfer in porous foam building envelopes.
