Résumé

To reduce the noise of a horizontal household freezer, a systematic analysis of the composition of noise spectrum was conducted. A freezer with different structures of transition pipes positioned between the capillary tube and evaporator tube was constructed. Using numerical simulations, the effect of the flow condition of the refrigerant in the transition pipe on the noise of the freezer was determined. Results of the theoretical research show that the transition pipe of the freezer (Haier BC/BD-103TS) was improved. An experiment was then conducted. Results show that improved measures clearly inhibited the jet noise of the capillary outlet, reduced the peak noise, and then lowered the noise level of the freezer to 36 dB (A).
