Etude expérimentale sur la formation d'hydrate gazeux dans un réservoir refroidi par un système utilisant du R134a ou du R141b.

Experimental study on gas hydrate cool storage with R134a and R141b.

Résumé

Experimental study on refrigerant gas hydrate has been done by using R134a and R141b respectively, as cool storage medium in an indirect-contact-charge and discharge cycling system. During the experiment, several kinds of alcohol like glycol, propanol, n-butanol and pentanol are individually added as surfactant to inspect their influence on gas hydrate formation. Meanwhile heat and mass transfer characteristics during hydrate formation and dissociation process in cooling storage tank have been analyzed at various running conditions. The results show that both R134a and R141b are good medium which exhibit active reaction and good performance. Generally, the crystallization of hydrate formation occurs in a finite extent of supercooling, and the supercooling reduces as hydrate begins to grow. By adding suitable surfactant, the supercooling degree is significantly reduced. For R141b gas hydrate, addition of 1% glycol shows the best effect, while for R134a, the best surfactant is 1-1.2% n-butanol.
