Résumé
The heat transfer characteristics of carbon dioxide in a horizontal tube with water in the vertical cross flow form were experimentally investigated. The results indicate that the changes of inlet pressure, mass flux, and cooling water flow have great effects on the heat transfer performance. The variations of Reynolds and Prandtl numbers were obtained in counterflow and vertical crossflow. The four conventional correlations for convection heat transfer of supercritical CO2 were verified by the experimental data in this study and the correlation fit for this experimental condition was determined.
