Résumé

Cryopreservation and transplantation of blood vessels is a key means to treat cardiovascular disease. To avoid the fracture of blood vessels at low temperatures, the experiment investigated the tension characteristics of the cony artery at low temperature (from room temperature to -80°C) and their changes where a cryopreservation agent was used. The authors found that the tension strength becomes larger as the sample temperature becomes lower. For the samples immersed in the cryopreservation agent the tension strength reached 1.11 to 4.26 MPa while for that not immersed in cryopreservation agent it is 0.41 to 5.86 MPa. The cryopreservation agent has an effect on the tension strength of the frozen cony artery. The tension strength of frozen cony artery immersed in DMSO is lower than that of non-immersed arteries.
