Etude sur la performance des huiles utilisées dans les systèmes frigorifiques au CO2 et au HFC-32.

Résumé

In determining the best candidate base oil to be used as a refrigeration lubricant for CO2 air-conditioning application, certain base oil characteristics need to be considered. Miscibility and solubility with CO2 stability and lubricity were evaluated with four types of base oils. The base oils tested were polyalkylene glycol, polyvinylether, polyolester and polycarbonate. In conclusion, PAG was considered as the most suited base oil because of the miscibility, diluted viscosity lubricity and stability. In order to improve miscibility with HFC-32, several types of base oils were investigated.
