Résumé

A membrane-based vacuum dehumidification system (MVD) is one of the most promising non-vapor compression air-conditioning systems, which removes the latent heat of humid indoor air isothermally. The permeation performance of the dense membrane is important parameter to analyse dehumidification performance of the system. Most of research on permeation performance of the dense membrane considered vapor permeance and selectivity both. However, most of the research on dehumidification performance of the MVD assumed the ideal membrane for gas separation that has infinite vapor selectivity. In this study, the dehumidification COP of the MVD was analysed for the actual membrane performance. Considering the finite selectivity, a revised structure of MVD was proposed, which shows cyclic operation of dehumidification and vacuumizing stages. The average dehumidification COP per cycle was optimized by marginal compression ratio of vacuum compressor, which varies according to the selectivity.
