Résumé

To a certain extent, there is an increased attention for the role, potential and challenges of standards and regulations in relation to the energy efficiency of buildings and their indoor climate performances. The main aims of this source book, which is included in the AIVC CD-ROM No. 6, are to make a critical analysis of the possibilities and challenges of hybrid ventilation systems in relation to standards and regulations as well as recommendations for handling innovative ventilation systems in the framework of such standards and regulations. Extract from the table of contents: performance assessment in standards and regulations; desirable challenges for energy performance regulations; assessing innovative systems; development of assessment concept based on system competition; suggestions for a generic set of assumptions; interaction with other international projects. In the annex: illustration of the impact of assumptions on assumed system performances: Dutch school building.
