Résumé

The design of the gas ejector is generally based on the results of a theoretical analysis using the 0D model. A typical 0D model allows the estimation of the ejector geometry in crucial cross-sections and the entrainment ratio for given operating conditions. Usually, 0D model is supported by CFD analysis, which allows for a more detailed analysis of the gas ejector operation. It is observed that the model proposed by Huang et al. in 1999 it is the most popular model used for ejector design. It is also possible to indicate the best model valid for the entire operating regime of the ejector. A common feature of the 0D models is the necessity to assume the isentropic efficiency of the ejector elements. The paper presents the differences between the predictions of the ejector geometry as well as the operating parameters obtained with the most popular models, especially in terms of the latest, low GWP refrigerants. The theoretical results were compared with the experimental results. The differences clearly show that the isentropic efficiency of the ejector elements is an area of special interest. An exemplary results for R1233zdE are shown in the paper.
