Résumé

A summary of recent research on evaporation and two-phase flow in microchannels is presented. The review addresses the topics of void fractions, two-phase flow regimes and transitions, flow pattern observations, flow boiling heat transfer data and their distinctive trends, and the description of a recent heat transfer model proposed for evaporation in the elongated bubble (slug) flow regime.
