Résumé

A handbook entitled "Thermophysical properties of liquid secondary refrigerants" with charts and tables for the refrigeration industry has been published both by the International Institute of Refrigeration and the Swedish Society of Refrigeration. The paper informs about and exemplifies some results from a critical review of the handbook. Some figures with properties for water solutions are given, curves from the handbook are compared with values from other literature and measurements, and differences in various sources are pointed out.
