Résumé

In spite of a few minor teething troubles, the general experiences with the CO2/R410A cascade system are positive. The calculated and expected saving of 15% on the power consumption of the compressors was nearly reached. Evaluation after a one-year operating period resulted in a 12% reduction in the energy consumption of the compressors.
