Expérimentation et modélisation du transfert de chaleur de condensation à l'intérieur d'un microcanal.

Experimentation and modelling of condensation heat transfer inside a minichannel.

Auteurs : CAVALLINI A., DEL COL D., MATKOVIC M., et al.

Résumé

A number of advantages that are associated to the use of minichannels have led to the adoption of those elements before there were actually available established design correlations. In this context, a new test apparatus for condensation and flow boiling heat transfer investigations within a single minichannel was set up by the authors. Its purpose is to contribute to a better understanding of two-phase heat transfer and fluid flow process within minichannels and hence to propose reliable modeling guidelines for condensation heat transfer inside these elements. The local heat transfer coefficients are measured in a direct way, by measuring the saturation to wall temperature difference and the local heat flux from the coolant temperature gradient along the measuring sector. The experimental results are compared against some models available in the open literature and are also compared against experimental values measured within multiport minichannel test tube by the authors.
