Hydro-scraped ice slurry generator.

Résumé

The article presents a generator employing a new process, "thermohydraulic scraping". This generator of "ice slurry" was validated using a first installation thanks to the support of Pôle Cristal of Dinan (France) whose technical platform is located at the technical school La Fontaine des Eaux, as well as with the support of many French and European firms of refrigeration equipment. Thereafter, and always in the same context, a new installation was built taking into account the experience gained during the initial validation. This new installation was built with the financial support of Ademe. The results obtained are very encouraging and satisfactory and must now make it possible to reach the stage of an industrial pilot.
