Résumé

This guideline is a suite of documents aimed at enabling providers to supply systems that adequately meet the needs of customers and encouraging customer confidence in the services provided. Some of the issues addressed by the guideline include the minimization of internal and external noise and vibration, calculation of heating and cooling loads, equipment selection and dispute resolution. Guidelines on the provision of a detailed quotation are included, as is information on the various standards and legislation that are applicable to the process. The guideline is primarily intended to apply to air conditioning or heating systems for single residential dwellings, including individual apartments in a multi-residence building. It may also be used for individual small commercial systems, but does not apply to large or complicated commercial systems.
