Résumé

This article indicates that climate change is expected to affect many aspects of building performance, with much of the existing and future stock likely to be affected. It identifies likely effects of climate change on buildings, evaluates how serious they may be and considers actions to ensure that future building performance is not compromised. It develops an assessment tool to rate a building's vulnerability to the effects of climate change and describes adaptation strategies for new and existing buildings.
