Résumé

In a contemporary architecture monument, original installations are one of the fundamental components which must be taken into account during restoration. Whether old installations should be preserved or replaced, is a decision based on objective motivations and an in-depth study of their state of conservation. The analysis and the solution proposed in this article are based on these prerequisites with a view to renovating the Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in the Eur district.
