Résumé

The paper presents records for compact refrigerating plants using ammonia with small-capacity screw compressors (delivered flow range: 250 m3/h). According to the operating conditions during air conditioning, cooling and quick-cooling applications, the appropriate capacity ranges are pointed out. Different compressor types and the technical aspects which distinguish these compressors are presented; quality and economy are examined.
