Installations frigorifiques transcritiques : phénomènes d'interface.

Interfacial phenomena in transcritical refrigeration plants.

Résumé

The contribution presents results on thermophysical data that are elucidating the interfacial phenomena in transcritical refrigeration plants operated with carbon dioxide. The objective is an improved prediction of drop formation, oil deposits and affected heat transfer within the refrigeration cycle. The experimental data devices for the measurement of phase equilibrium, interfacial tensions, mixture densities, viscosities and contact angles are introduced. Results are presented for different lubricants that have been tested in the carbon dioxide-oil system. The interpretation of the data obtained enables conclusions on the design and the operation of transcritical refrigeration plants to be drawn.
