Résumé

Mechanical ventilation systems derive a significant part of their reliability from the fact that the normal operation of the system is required by the building occupants. Fire mode operation, however, will involve components and operating conditions that are not required for normal heating/cooling and ventilating operation. Items such as dedicated smoke extract fans do not run during normal building operation.
