Résumé

The paper presents the conditions in which the International Temperature Scale (ITS) was established, and the conditions of measurements of temperatures. In a first part, the temperatures between 0.65 and 1234.93 K are concerned, temperature range in which the ITS 90 is defined in terms of calibration of thermometers at 15 fixed points and vapour pressure/temperature relations which are phase equilibrium states of pure substances. In the second part, problems associated with temperatures above 1234.93 K are discussed.
