Presents four brief articles on insulated panel systems: 1) Sandwich advice from an expert panel: this article gives a report on a recent conference investigating the problems associated with the use of combustible sandwich panels. 2) Raising safety levels: this article reports on the current advice available from the Loss Prevention Council on the safe use of insulated panels. 3) The test series: this article argues that a thorough review of fire test data for sandwich panels is urgently required. 4) Panels made easy: this article gives advice to designers and specifiers on the use and maintenance of external cladding panel systems.
