Résumé

This study examines and compares the performance capabilities of several HVAC systems popularly applied to general classrooms with respect to their ability to maintain space relative humidity and to control risk of microbial infection transmission during warm weather. It also evaluates the effect of different outdoor ventilation rates upon classroom humidity. The study examines a typical school classroom located in central Maryland.
