The role of the Commission of the European Communities in supporting and promoting heat pump technology.

Résumé
Depuis environ 20 ans, la Commission des Communautés Européennes s'applique à promouvoir l'utilisation des pompes à chaleur. Les premières initiatives étaient surtout des programmes de R& D, comme les programmes JOULE et THERMIE. A ces activités, s'est récemment ajoutée la formation d'un groupe "Pompes à chaleur" où des représentants du secteur public, des fabricants ou d'autres groupes concernés, essaient de favoriser l'utilisation des pompes à chaleur en Europe. Dans l'article, on décrit certains des projets soutenus par le programme de R& D JOULE 2 de la Commission, ainsi que les activités du groupe "Pompes à chaleur" et son rôle futur.
