Résumé

The introduction of natural-gas use via LNG in the early years (mostly into France and Japan) has allowed LNG to play a major role in developing gas infrastructure. Today, natural gas, often supplied as LNG, is particularly well-suited for use in the combined cycle technology used in independent power generation projects. One promizing area for further optimization is better use of the cold that is produced.
