Résumé

Global warming is continuously worsening and reaching the tipping point where irreversible and abrupt climate change threatens human society. Selecting refrigerants with low global warming potential is increasingly crucial in prevention efforts. This study provides the surface tension data of a low GWP refrigerant R1132a and refrigerant mixture R1123/propane measured by a differential capillary rise method with uncertainty within 0.2~0.25 mNm-1. In the data reduction, a molecular simulation is adopted to calculate saturation densities and composition. The molecular force fields of constituent compounds validated with measured data are applied in the simulation. The simulated surface tension data highly overlapped with the measured data. Based on those data, an empirically obtained van der Waals-type correlation is tentatively proposed. Additionally, the prediction accuracy of the parachor method is discussed.
