Résumé

Energy consumption of multi-chiller system of HAVC accounts for important part in buildings, optimization during design stage can effectively improve system efficiency. This paper presents an optimal method for designing the multi-chiller system. The maximum efficiency map of multi-chiller system is obtained based on the performance curves of chillers, and it can describe the maximum efficiency of the multi-chiller system under the different load and operation condition. Gauss Kernel Density Estimation method is utilized to generate probability distribution map of load and operation conditions based on the design requirement. The concordance index between the maximum efficiency map and the probability distribution map of load and operation conditions is defined. DPSO algorithm is employed to minimize the concordance index for the optimal capacity configuration of multi-chiller system from optional chillers. It is validated and the results show that the proposed method can optimize capacity configuration of the multi-chiller system directly from optional chillers instead of from optional capacity configurations.
