Résumé

In thermal material research, accurate experimental determinations of thermal conductivities of materials, which change their phases, are still a great challenge. For substances with steep - but still continuous - enthalpy density functions, an alternative flash method is presented. The semi-experimental method incorporates a sophisticated mathematical and numerical evaluation method. The article describes this procedure in detail. As an example of practical importance, the Jeffrey model - which can be applied to describe thermal conductivities of suspensions - was adapted to ice slurries with a ten mass-percent ethanol additive and then used for a first test of the new method.
