This paper presents an updated account on the perspectives and development of the building and HVAC system commissioning in Hong Kong. With the increasing demand and the trend of promoting proper building and HVAC system commissioning in Hong Kong, the necessity to establish a Hong Kong Building Commissioning Centre is discussed.
