This paper is the continuation of a 3-part paper published in 2009 dealing with selective cooling of a baby's brain after intrapartum hypoxaemia. In this paper a Matlab-Simulink model of temperature changes in a baby's body during benign hypothermia is presented. This simple model can be used in thermal calculations of necessary refrigerating units. Maximum heat load calculations are verified by simulation results.
