Optimisation d'un système de conditionnement d'air automobile : analyse de la disponibilité.

Availability analysis for optimizing a vehicle air-conditioning system.

Auteurs : ZHENG Y., ZHANG C.

Résumé

Availability analysis is based on the combination of the First and Second Laws of Thermodynamics. Availability is defined as the maximum amount of potential work in relation to the surrounding environment. In the paper, the availability loss method was applied to evaluate a dual-evaporator vehicle air conditioning (A/C) system. Second Law Efficiency analysis was also used to evaluate a vehicle A/C system under different operating conditions. It was found that A/C systems always display better Second Law efficiencies under highway running conditions than under other operating conditions. The influence of thermal expansion valve design is highlighted.
