Optimisation par "l'inspection de la performance".

Optimisation through "performance inspection".

Auteurs : BERGLÖF K.

Résumé

The need for and potential benefits of performance inspections is established by EU regulations. But it is important to establish that the cost of performance inspections can, if correctly done, be rewarded many times over by saved energy and prolonged life time expectance of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. The cost effective "internal method" for performance analyses of refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat-pump applications is presented. The method is implemented in the ClimaCheck Performance Analyser that was awarded "Refrigeration Product of the Year 2009" at the RAC show in Britain. The internal method is based on easy to apply sensors (seven temperatures, two pressures and active power). By applying thermophysical calculation the COP and capacity can be determined with good accuracy. Also, the behaviour and performance of each component in the system can be established and documented. This can be done without flow meters or any data from manufacturer. As the internal method can be applied to any plant in 20-30 minutes, without the need of preinstalled equipment or the need to stop the system, it offers a new way of inspecting, servicing and trouble shooting any refrigeration process. It is a cost-effectiveness "tool" to optimise systems and decrease the environmental impact as well as the cost of operating refrigeration processes. Experiences from the practical use are presented. The visualisation of the actual performance is a necessary step in optimisation and decision making.
