Performance et travail PV du réfrigérateur à tube à pulsation biétagé de type Gifford-McMahon.

The performance and PV work of the Gifford-McMahon type two-stage pulse tube refrigerator.

Résumé

A two-stage pulse tube refrigerator equipped with three rotary valves are developed and the lowest temperature of 10.3 K was obtained when lead shots are used for the second regenerator material. From the measured pressure drop across the orifice plates connected to the pulse tube hot ends, the mass flow rate through the orifice was estimated and the equivalent PV work was calculated. Based on the cooling capacity and PV work, the refrigeration losses depend on the temperature difference of the regenerator and show the linear relation for both stages.
