Résumé

There is a wide array of applications for access floors. A common parameter is often the need for flexibility and ability to accomplish changes at a low cost and on a tight timeline. Below are some typical variations among different raised-floor applications. The commonality and lessons learned in one application can be very beneficial. However, the variations described above indicate the critical need to approach each access floor systems project in an unbiased way and optimize the solution for that specific project. A critical needs is for the HVAC engineer to proactively participate in the design and construction of access floors so that the HVAC system is not adversely impacted.
