Pompe à chaleur à absorption à ammoniac/eau de faible puissance pour le chauffage et le refroidissement.

Small-capacity ammonia/water absorption heat pump for heating and cooling.

Résumé

This paper describes the system layout, mathematical model and first experimental results of a small-capacity ammonia/water absorption heat pumping unit (cooling capacity 5 kW) which is designed for both heating and cooling purpose and shall be driven by a biomass boiler in order to reduce the energy demand as well as to increase the share of renewables in the cooling/refrigeration sector. In order to reduce the first costs standard plate heat exchangers has been used for all heat exchangers including absorber and generator. For purification of the refrigerant a rectification column with a dephlegmator cooled by the rich solution has been developed and installed downstream the generator. The COPH of the mathematical model varies approximately linear from about 1.75 to 1.4 for a temperature lift of 10 to 50 K. The experimental results show a similar correlation but approximately 7.5% below the results of the mathematical model for COPH.
