Energy use of pumping options for ground-source heat pumps.

Résumé

The paper presents the results of several pumping patterns designed to feed water ground source heat pumps. Water is circulated in closed loops, into bore holes: three patterns with centralized pumping stations, one pattern with one pump per zone, are compared. The lowest energy consumption corresponds to the decentralized pumping pattern, the highest to the centralized pattern without inverter for the pump. The plants are fully described. Data are presented in tables.
