Résumé

The current problem of R22 replacement in air-conditioning and refrigeration (AC&R) systems involved an urgent necessity of proposing alternative refrigerants. One of the most promising will be the refrigerant blend R422D. There is not yet complete information about thermodynamic properties and behaviour of such mixture in AC&R units. Based on standard Refprop v. 6.0 software, some selected properties of R422D have been obtained. Calculations of isentropic index within the typical temperature and pressure range are presented in the graphical form as well as the unit comparison work and the GWP potential. These results are compared to existing literature data published in open sources.
