Progrès récents dans l'accumulation thermique et les systèmes de transport utilisant des matériaux à changement de phase au Japon.

Recent advances in thermal energy storage and transport systems using phase change materials in Japan.

Numéro : pap. K04

Auteurs : INADA T.

Résumé

Cold energy storage systems using ice slurries were progressively developed in Japan since the 1980s to level the electric power load throughout the day and night in summer. Recently, however, many other technologies on thermal energy storage and transport using phase change materials have become of interest from a viewpoint of energy saving. In this paper, first, recent Japanese policies on thermal energy storage and transport are briefly reviewed. Then, several recent technologies on energy storage and transport, which seem technically interesting and practicable in applications for air conditioning and food preservation, are introduced.
