Résumé

The broad United States fluorocarbon industry contributes an estimated $158 billion in shipments and services to the country’s conomy. This output is generated by approximately 729,000 employees with an industry-wide payroll of $32 billion. An analysis of multiple fluorocarbon-using industries developed these estimates based on data from the 2007 US Economic Census, supplemented by information from industry experts.
