Résumé

Allergy in the workplace environment is a growing concern. The author concludes that allergy and environmental health problems in buildings have largely been neglected because their effects are mostly chronic and long-term and not directly life threatening and argues that a healthy and comfortable environment requires a multidisciplinary integrated approach.
