Résumé

The paper reviews the development of a computer-aided architectural design (CAAD) system in China and points out the deficiencies of today's computer-aided design (CAD) software and suggests exploiting integrated CAAD. The paper conducts the overall design of CAAD based on an engineering database, and it especially presents the train of thought of HVAC CAD design systems and their main functions.
