Recherches expérimentales et théoriques sur une pompe à chaleur à sorbant solide avec échangeur incorporé.

Experimental and theoretical investigations of a solid-sorbent heat pump with an embedded heat exchanger.

Résumé

A promising option for adsorbers/ desorbers is to embed a heat exchanger with an enhanced heat transfer surface within the reactive medium. A so-called Spiro tube seems to be an effective heat exchanger for these purposes. A model was developed to describe the transient behaviour of such a system. As a first test, the model was somewhat simplified and tested for a working pair with well defined properties (particle size, shape, porosity, etc.). Subsequently this simplified model was compared to experiments. The experiments were carried out in an ordinary packed bed configuration with an embedded Spiro tube.
