Résumé

The paper describes the design and performance of a new air conditioning system. Cold air is blown in a suspended ceiling covering only a part of the complete ceiling. The suspended ceiling is made of aluminium sheet and has a primary effect, cooling the room through radiation. Then the air, already slightly heated, is flown in the room through a longitudinal slot, across the ceiling. The advantages of this system are discussed.
