Résumé

The paper considers reduction of chiller emissions of HFCs with four optional approaches: 1) do without the functions provided by HFCs; 2) do the same functions with less HFCs; 3) do it better (use the refrigerants in a manner that will reduce the emissions); and 4) do it differently (provide the services with other refrigerants or other technology).
