Résumé

The simulation study presents a comparison of on/off-controlled and capacity controlled air-to-water heat pumps. Furthermore different kinds of supply temperature controls are analyzed. The modeled heat sink is a German one-family home with a water based radiator heating system and contains a buffer storage in case of the on/off-controlled heat pump. Simulations were performed for one heating period. The results show higher efficiencies of the capacity controlled heat pump systems but also their higher sensibility to the type of supply temperature control. An advanced control that lowers the supply temperature according to the actual heat load increases the efficiency of the heat pump system in comparison to standard heating curve control.
