Résumé

The refrigeration equipments commonly used in industrial, commercial and residential applications, heat pumps and air conditioning systems are normally operated and controlled by the use of On-Off or PID control. In the last decades the compressor with variable speed is appearing as a good option in terms of energy consumption and electronic expansion valve as well. This paper reports an experimental investigation of a refrigeration system operating with a variable speed compressor and an electronic expansion valve focusing on the reduction of the energy consumption and improvement of the COP. This study worked the use of the adaptive controller hybrid fuzzy (PI fuzzy and PD fuzzy) and using to the inlet of the hybrid-fuzzy control the evaporation temperature calculated with the value of the overall heat transfer coefficient (UA), considered the most relevant parameter of the system. This proportioned the better operation trajectory of the system, where the system operates in the maximum COP regions, improving the performance of the system.
