Résumé

The integration of room air-conditioning systems in the technical centre requires close communication between all people taking part in the building design and building construction to meet the different requirements and to lead to reasonable compromises. In the revision of the VDI 3803 standard, argumentation was used to enable the air-conditioning designer and the architects to determine the space requirement for the air-conditioning and cooling units and the location of the central plant in the building.
