Résumé

The gas-fired boiler for heating is an important way for space heating in China due to low pollutant emission. Meanwhile, because the flue gas temperature is much higher than the ambient, there is a great amount of waste heat in the flue gas. To effectively recover waste heat, a novel heat recovery system that integrated gas engine driven heat pump and condensation heat exchanger is proposed. A mathematical model is established to analyse the system performance. The results demonstrate that the ambient temperature has little impact on the heat recovery performance. The return water temperature is a key factor affecting the heat recovery performance. The efficiency will increase while the temperature of return hot water decreases. When the ambient temperature is 0oC, the system heat recovery efficiency can reach 14.3%, which is 5.3% higher than the condensing heat recovery of gas-fired boiler.
