Résumé

The flow velocities and temperature distribution are forecast in this article by a computer simulation (CFD) for an office space with a glass façade. The impact of air distribution by a ceiling slot, and the influence of a floor convector on the winter microclimate in such an office are assessed. For this assessment, the vertical and horizontal temperature and velocity profiles in the space are quantified and evaluated. The results reflect the positive influence of a convector in cases where it would be located along the glass wall.
